Take your broken heart and go make art.
This is all Carrie Fisher's fault.
She told me once: take your broken heart and go make art. After she died, I wrote a novel inspired by my time as her personal assistant. When I got ball cancer, I made a web series about picking out the perfect fake testicle to replace the cancery one. When one of my novels got rejected, I started a satirical cult.
Byrontology is home to stories you feel.
It’s a podcast, Substack, and YouTube channel exploring the meaning of life with real stories trying to make sense of the absurd, awful, and everyday—like love, rejection, cancer, working for Carrie Fisher, visiting the gay orgy tent at Burning Man.
Sometimes there’s hope. Sometimes humor. Sometimes just dog hair.
